You need a wide range of pliers and cutters. For a beginner a few basic pliers would do. Flat nose pliers are one of them that are used mainly to hold, flatten and straighten wires. Then is the Round nose plier that is used to complete delicate and detailed work. Then you need to buy a flush wire cutter that you will need to cut through silver, brass or Gold or copper for that matter. And you definitely need wires with which you make your first jewelry. Innovate a design and get on with it.
