To those who care, there are two crimping holes in the tool. The hole closest to the rivet on the tool is the one she demonstrated. It has a tiny tooth in it that bites the bead as it smashes it. This shapes the bead into a little kidney bean shape. The outer hole of the crimping tool squeezes the long ends of the bean shaped bead together and folds it up like a book into a tiny rounded, inconspicuous bead that double grips your wire. The extra security means your wire will never slip.

This is awesome…basically what I have been looking for all over the internet! What I couldn’t quite grasp in words alone, you have shown me in this video! Thank you!
You actually need to get real crimp beads..2x2mm(comes in silver/gold/copper).
The crimping pliers actually has two slots…one at the back of the jaw that puts the crimp in the bead…then you use the slot at the front of the pliers to fold the crimp bead into itself…leaving you a rounded crimp…
It’s a two step process…but like the video…you can use a round 2mm silver bead and squish it with the one slot.
But that’s not how it was designed for…
this has been the most helpful video I have found, love the close ups, thank you!
Thank you SO much for the close-ups. It shows exactly what you need to do, and more importantly, HOW to do it.
